One day, I was surveying my hometown on Google Earth, marvelling at the images from above when I hit upon the idea of creating my own aerial view of my immediate vicinity. Well, almost.  I decided to take a series of photos from the rooftop of my house!  Yes, you read it right!  I shot up a ladder with a tripod and mounted the tripod on the apex of my roof.

This gave me a clear 360 degree view all around my house.  I took a series of  13 photos and stitched them together.

Not the best panorama but I was quite happy with the results. Use your mouse to scan the horizon left and right.
